Menu Labeling

Customers Want To Know

Your customers are better informed about their food choices than ever before. They want to know exactly what’s in the meal they’re ordering, so they can make the best selection according to their needs. Menu labeling helps them do just that – and can help you market the recipes you’ve spent so much effort on perfecting. And as menu labeling legislation advances, you’ll want to be in compliance.

The Analysis Process

We’ll begin with a nutrient analysis of your recipes, using Genesis R&D SQL, internationally recognized for its accuracy and thoroughness. Our database of over 37,000 foods delivers the most complete and accurate computerized nutrient analysis available. We’ll use USDA data or add the foods you use in your recipes to our database, and give you the specific information you’ll need about:

  • Calories and calories from fat
  • Total fat, trans fat and saturated fat
  • Cholesterol and sodium
  • Total carbohydrates, sugar and dietary fiber
  • Protein

Results You Can Use

We’ll give you the results in an Excel spreadsheet, so you’ll have the flexibility to use the information best suited for your specific needs. We’ve also got ideas for how to present this data to your customers to make it easy for them to see exactly what they’d like to order – and how much thought you’ve given to their meal choices.
